Katy dinner san francisco

Grannan is one of a number of young female photographers who began working in the mid-nineties and who use gender to inaugurate new genres and thematic directions in contemporary photography that would in all likelihood be off-limits to their male counterparts. The result is a cache of images of children, adolescents, teens, young adults, and trusting strangers… Who perform for the camera in ways that are at once scripted and quite candid.

But ultimately, their desire to be seen and my desire to photograph them are the ingredients of something larger. The portrait that remains represents neither accurately. Our intentions, whatever they were, are recorded and warped and reinvented into something entirely unique.

In Shang-Chi , the duo's relationship is platonic, but there are a few moments throughout the film that hint toward a possible evolution for their relationship.

Between Katy's reaction to seeing Shang-Chi shirtless, her grandmother's prodding at them getting married, and the sweet moment they shared after the battle at Ta Lo, the groundwork has been laid to explore a romantic relationship in the future. However, there is also great merit in getting to explore a close, platonic friendship between a man and a woman on-screen; something that doesn't happen very frequently in superhero films. Shang-Chi star Awkwafina is excited to explore Katy's future.

While she doesn't know exactly what's in store for Katy, she does know she wants it to happen with Shang-Chi by her side. Emily Clute is a features writer based out of New York. When a lifetime of fandom met a journalism degree, a ScreenRant writer was born.

Service was good also. A good simple meal for before theatre. Service and food were great! Portions were small for the price. I ordered the arugula, quinoa salad with chicken added. The plate was slightly larger than a bread plate with about a teaspoon of quinoa sprinkled on top and 3 slivers of sun-dried tomatoes.

Normally I don't like a lot of dressing, however I could bearly taste the dressing. My husband had the chicken Caesar, which was ok, the chicken was dry on both salads without any seasoning. Kudos to our sever, Nathan, and our Valentine menu! Excellent all the way around - highly recommended! After a number of good experiences over many past years, this visit was disappointing on several levels.

The hostess kept chatting for 5 minutes with a friend before passing on the word that we were waiting for a booth there were a couple ready, but for some reason we had to wait for a booth that still needed to be set up. The appetizers we ordered were fine and tasty, but then they were trying to sell us a well done skirt steak as a medium rare filet mignon.

The side sauce we had ordered was missing as well. After waiting some time to catch her attention, the waitress actually said "this is how our steaks look like" as argument that she thought she had brought the correct order.

We are steak lovers and know our meats, mind you, so back to the kitchen it went. Speaking of sides: one used to get a generous portion of each be it creamed spinach or mash or veggies ; now there was plenty of white left to look at on ones plate; we felt like we were served a lunch portion at dinner cost. To be fair: when the actual re-ordered filet mignon arrived, they had added more generously to the sides as well, so that at least was something.

The waitress also never offered us bread or water; we finally asked for the latter with our after-dinner espressos. She also never asked if we wanted another cocktail or glass of wine. Feeling ignored and underserved was sort of the theme of this outing.

For what they charged, that was not acceptable, and our tip reflected our disappointment. I hope this was an "off" night for them, but we won't be back to find out. A broad menu with something for everyone, good service and perfect location to ACT. We ate at the bar -- trout for my partner and angel hair pasta with shrimp for me. Excellent food. Friendly, efficient female bartender. We were early 4 pm? Great food, but our server due to language issues had a hard time understanding my drink order and tried to close us out without coffee and dessert.

Warm, cozy atmosphere. Great spot for lunch. Will definitely be back soon! Great to grab a good meal before the theatre And at prices that won't having you take out a loan.

Our waiter Nathan was awesome. Will definitely come back again next time in town. This was the perfect spot for dinner before a play. The food is very good, lots of choices, and fairly priced. We had amazing service from Elliott - once he knew we were going to a play, he made sure everything was ready in a timely way without our feeling rushed. And when the kitchen forgot the garlic butter for the steaks, he went and grabbed it himself. We will be back. T he food and service at the Daily Grill was exactly what I expected having heard about the restaurant from friends and through Yelp.

We were a party of 6 and we all ordered different entrees. They were all good enough that we kept offering each other tastes of what we ordered. The waiter was a little off-putting—seemed to question our dining needs almost every time we had a special request for dietary reasons. Service was a little slow.

Ambiance was nice and it was quiet. This is a good location for theater goers. My party had tickets for a 2 night performance of Harry Potter. A great menu with lots of variety.

Piped in music a little loud, but overall 2 very pleasant evenings. My perfect kind of restaurant for a nice dinner with a good friend: quiet, upscale with great food and service. My filet mignon was perfect and we enjoyed everything from start to finish. Definitely recommend. Ate here before seeing Harry Potter with our grandkids. Good exoerience. We were going to see Harry Potter with our grandchildren.

Service was friendly and timely. Something for everyone on the menu. Food was very good. Server barely attended to us. Was not worth the money. Service was fine but a little slow. Went for Christmas dinner with our family of 5 3 kids.
